Some customers may experience issues when trying to apply store credit at checkout. We are aware of this issue and it appears to be related to how Shop Pay interacts with Shopify store credit.
This issue only affects customers who have a saved payment method in their Shop Pay account. In some cases, Shop Pay may override the Shopify store credit option, preventing the store credit from appearing or being applied properly at checkout.
To clarify, customers who do not have a saved card or payment method through Shop Pay should be able to see and use their store credit at checkout without any issues.
How to Use Your Store Credit
If your store credit is not showing at checkout, please try the following:
- Remove your saved payment method from your Shop Pay account.
- Return to checkout.
- Enter your payment method manually at checkout.
- Your store credit should then appear as an available option.
Customers are also welcome to use their store credit in person at our store.
